This was not exploration; it was revelation. I had recently discovered longer exposures, shutter drag, and understanding that each motion had a clear and visible impact on the result. Being able to see the results immediately was absolutely mesmerizing. These shots were taken with my first DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel XT. This is what has come to be known as a photo dump. This photo set is a snapshot from the past. These are images I took with my first DSLR and my second camera ever, a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT. We're talking 2009,  with  the kit lens too. The shots were sometimes hot and mostly not. Regardless, I love the camera.
