This was not exploration; it was revelation. I had recently discovered longer exposures, shutter drag, and understanding that each motion had a clear and visible impact on the result. Being able to see the results immediately was absolutely mesmerizing. These shots were taken with my first DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel XT. I was really diving into photography and exploring something called  Miksang,  a Tibetan word meaning "good eye,"  which is a contemplative photography practice that focuses on seeing the world without preconceptions.  Here are some things I found... light&Trails: Orange red and the green streak light&Trails: Orange red streak light&Trails: red streaks light&Trails: red Orange streak light&Trails: red Orange streaks light&Trails: red Orange streak light&Trails: Red Orange Disco streak light&Trails: Red Orange Disco streaks light&Trails: light vertical horizon light&Trails: Vertical Abstract light&Trails: Horizo...

This is what has come to be known as a photo dump. This photo set is a snapshot from the past. These are images I took with my first DSLR and my second camera ever, a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT. We're talking 2009,  with  the kit lens too. The shots were sometimes hot and mostly not. Regardless, I love the camera. I love the confidence it has helped me develop, the creativity it has revealed to me, and the way it has enabled me to see everything differently.  HiWays, PowerLines & Sunsets Lake Ontario colour palette Street Sticker Art making faces on the wall-art pull up your sleeve what you lookin at Lightpoles & Powerlines Lightposts & Powerlines High street light from highway street light from highway factories along the 401 in Toronto factories along the 401 in Toronto

I often asked myself why we name possessions and/or our inanimate objects. Be it our tools we do it as adults especially as little kids, is it our way of personalizing things, or does it run deeper, by giving thing a name envokes what exactly, I realise it has everything to do with our sense of ownership and domination. I think it puts some of our own seasoning on an object a touch of personalisation...!!! All that to say...   i love my car
