a t(r)ail of light...


This was not exploration; it was revelation. I had recently discovered longer exposures, shutter drag, and understanding that each motion had a clear and visible impact on the result. Being able to see the results immediately was absolutely mesmerizing. These shots were taken with my first DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel XT. I was really diving into photography and exploring something called Miksang, a Tibetan word meaning "good eye," which is a contemplative photography practice that focuses on seeing the world without preconceptions.
